Children’s Sandpit Indoor Play Area
The Beach at Craigend Nursery
Our famous beach is a giant indoor, heated sandpit play area and is open daily. Perfect for pre-school children and babies to explore and have fun, there are a range of toys and ride-ons to enjoy.
9am-10:30am (Mon-Sat)
12:30pm-2pm
10:45am-12:15pm
2:15pm-3:45pm
Each 90-minute play session costs £4 per child with £1 each for adults and under 1’s. Online booking is strongly recommended as capacity is often reached, especially on cold or wet days and school holidays.
Adult supervision is required at all times and there are tables and chairs nearby where you can enjoy a tea, coffee and anything else from the sandpit menu.
Birthday Parties at The Beach
The sandpit is available for private hire every day from 2.30 to 4.30pm – perfect for birthday parties, playgroup get-togethers or just a special treat with friends.
Private sessions include exclusive use of the space, with plenty of toys, ride-ons and room to dig, build and play. You’re welcome to bring your own decorations to set the space up how you’d like it.
We ask for a minimum of 15 children per booking, and a £30 deposit is required to secure your date.
